We’re Hiring | SAP PaPM Cloud Consultant / Architect (Freelance)

Are you passionate about profitability, performance management, and advanced financial modeling in the cloud? We’re looking for a highly skilled SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) Cloud Consultant / Architect to design, build, and optimize next-gen PaPM solutions in a modern cloud landscape.

Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Engagement: Freelance / Contract

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation

Design and implement SAP PaPM Cloud models using the Universal Model framework
Build complex allocation models (driver-based, multi-step, recursive, rule-based)
Translate business requirements into scalable solutions for profitability, costing, scenario modeling, and regulatory reporting

Modeling & Data Architecture

Develop and optimize PaPM data models, functions, and processing logic
Integrate PaPM with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and external data sources
Apply performance tuning strategies for high-volume data processing

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with Finance, Operations, and IT teams
Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, and user training
Create high-quality functional & technical documentation

Testing & Deployment

Lead Unit, Integration, and UAT testing
Support production deployment, cutover, and hypercare
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize PaPM model performance

Required Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on SAP PaPM (Cloud or On-Premise) experience
Strong expertise in complex allocation and profitability models
Deep understanding of the PaPM Universal Model and calculation engine
Solid finance knowledge: cost accounting, profitability analysis, planning & forecasting
Integration experience with S/4HANA, BW, or SAP Analytics Cloud
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have

✨ SAP PaPM or Finance-related certifications
✨ Experience with SAP BTP, CDS Views, SAP HANA modeling, SQL, scripting
✨ Industry exposure: Banking, Insurance, Utilities, Telecom, Manufacturing
✨ Familiarity with Agile / Hybrid delivery models
