Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP AIF Lead Consultant with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and governing SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF) solutions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading end-to-end AIF implementations, establishing monitoring frameworks, and enabling business users to effectively manage interface exceptions and monitoring processes.

Key Responsibilities

SAP AIF Architecture & Implementation

Lead the setup and implementation of SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF) from the ground up.
Define AIF architecture, governance models, operational processes, and implementation standards.
Design and implement reusable AIF frameworks, monitoring solutions, and error-handling mechanisms.
Configure AIF namespaces, interfaces, alerts, notifications, exception handling, and business user monitoring.
Establish best practices and development standards for interface design, support, and maintenance.

Stakeholder Management & Solution Design

Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable AIF solutions.
Present architecture designs, implementation roadmaps, project status updates, and recommendations to business and IT leadership.
Drive business user adoption of monitoring, exception management, and error resolution capabilities.

Interface Monitoring & Integration

Design and implement monitoring solutions for:
- IDocs
- Proxy Interfaces
- RFC/BAPI Integrations
- Web Services and APIs
- SAP PI/PO and SAP Integration Suite Interfaces
- Third-Party System Integrations
Develop custom AIF interfaces, enhancements, and monitoring capabilities as required.
Configure alerts, notifications, and workflow-driven business exception handling processes.
Design business-friendly error messages and corrective action procedures to improve operational efficiency.

Reporting & Documentation

Build dashboards, reports, and KPIs for interface performance, monitoring, and operational effectiveness.
Prepare solution architecture documents, implementation guides, support procedures, and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with enterprise integration standards and governance policies.

Required Skills

10+ years of overall SAP experience.
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on SAP AIF implementation experience.
Strong expertise in SAP AIF architecture, configuration, monitoring, and support.
Experience with SAP Integration technologies including SAP PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite, IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, APIs, and Web Services.
Strong understanding of interface governance, exception handling, and business monitoring processes.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience in SAP S/4HANA integration environments is highly preferred.
