Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced MySQL Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize production databases while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain MySQL 5.7/8.x databases.
• Manage database replication, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.
• Monitor database performance and optimize SQL queries and indexing.
• Troubleshoot database issues and implement security and access controls.
• Develop automation scripts using Shell or Python.
• Work with application and infrastructure teams and support production deployments.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in MySQL DBA.
• Expertise in replication, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
• Good knowledge of Linux, SQL optimization, and Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM).
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) is preferred.
