Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP CO (Controlling) Functional Consultant to implement, configure, and support SAP Controlling (CO) solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP CO modules, end-to-end implementation experience, business process analysis, integration with other SAP modules, and client-facing consulting skills. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and multiple implementation projects is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to management accounting and controlling processes.
- Configure and implement SAP CO solutions based on business needs.
- Work on end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.
- Configure and support Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders (IO), Product Cost Controlling (PC), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
- Design and maintain cost allocation cycles, assessments, distributions, and settlements.
- Collaborate with SAP FI, MM, SD, PP, PS, and ABAP teams for cross-functional integration.
- Prepare Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and coordinate with technical teams for developments.
- Support data migration, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover, and go-live activities.
- Conduct end-user training and provide post-go-live support.
- Troubleshoot production issues and recommend process improvements.
- Participate in solution design workshops and client discussions.

- Ability to prepare Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
- Strong understanding of business processes in manufacturing or service industries.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Knowledge of Universal Journal (ACDOCA).
- Experience with Margin Analysis in SAP S/4HANA.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori applications.
- Experience with SAP Central Finance (CFIN).
- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or SAP BW reporting.
- Understanding of Agile and SAP Activate methodology.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- MBA (Finance) or CA/CMA is an added advantage.
- SAP CO or SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is preferred.
Preferred Experience
- 5–10 years of experience as an SAP CO Functional Consultant.
- Minimum of 2 end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
- Experience in support, rollout, and migration projects.
- Experience working with global clients and cross-functional teams.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceuticals, retail, or FMCG industries.
- Exposure to SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite.
- Experience with SAP Group Reporting or Consolidation.
- Knowledge of reporting tools such as SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or Power BI.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
