Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDM / MDG Consultant with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Master Data Management. The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting MDM solutions while ensuring data quality, governance, and smooth integration across SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing & Implementing MDM Solutions

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP MDM / MDG solutions

  • Create and manage MDM repositories, data models, and data quality rules

• Data Quality Management

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of master data across SAP systems

  • Implement data validation, cleansing, and quality checks

• Data Governance

  • Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and approval workflows

• Data Migration

  • Plan and execute data migration for SAP implementations and upgrades

  • Perform data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation

• Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with business users, functional teams, and IT stakeholders

  • Gather requirements, resolve master data issues, and support integrations

• Training & Support

  • Provide training and post-go-live support to end users

  • Troubleshoot MDM-related issues

• Documentation

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for MDM processes, configurations, and standards

• Monitoring & Auditing

  • Monitor data quality metrics and perform audits

  • Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions

• Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated with the latest SAP MDM / MDG tools and best practices

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP MDM / SAP MDG

• Good understanding of data governance, data quality, and data cleansing

• Familiarity with SAP modules such as FI, SD, MM

• Experience in data migration projects

• Knowledge of SQL (ABAP is an added advantage)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to manage tasks and meet project timelines

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments

• Exposure to multi-system SAP landscapes
