About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SAP PMO / Project Manager to lead global ERP implementation, upgrade, migration, and rollout initiatives. The role requires strong leadership, project governance, and cross-functional collaboration skills to ensure successful delivery while maintaining compliance, security, and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Project & Program Management
- Manage end-to-end ERP projects including implementation, migration, upgrades, and rollouts
- Ensure adherence to project KPIs: scope, budget, quality, and timelines
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation such as:
- Project Charter
- RACI Matrix
- Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Risk Analysis
- Project Plan & Activity Tracker
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Lead cross-functional and multinational teams, ensuring alignment with project goals
- Collaborate closely with finance stakeholders and leadership teams
- Act as a bridge between technical and business teams
Governance & Methodology
- Apply Lean-Agile methodologies to streamline project execution
- Ensure compliance with project governance standards
- Implement and monitor change control processes
Risk & Change Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and opportunities proactively
- Drive corrective and preventive actions until closure
- Manage change requests, including evaluation and approvals
Execution & Delivery
- Ensure adherence to scope, schedule, resource allocation, and budget commitments
- Oversee integration and customization within global ERP templates
- Utilize project management tools for tracking and reporting
Data & Training
- Gather and validate master data requirements
- Coordinate with data migration teams for smooth transitions
- Plan and execute end-user training programs and documentation
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in managing large-scale, global ERP or finance transformation projects
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes
- Ability to interpret financial statements and manage project budgets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment
- Positive mindset towards cloud-based technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or related field
- PMP or other project management certifications (preferred)
- Basic understanding of SAP S/4HANA (added advantage)
