Job Description

The SAP S/4HANA Plan to Execute Solution Consultant (APAC Hub) will support the design and implementation of end-to-end SAP PP processes across both discrete and process manufacturing industries. This role is critical for driving multiple transformation projects, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, global templates, and region-specific requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP PP and related E2E processes, with the ability to harmonize planning, production, and execution strategies across plants and geographies. You will collaborate with global stakeholders, lead workshops, manage system configurations, and support scalable manufacturing solutions in a dynamic transformation environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver SAP S/4HANA solutions for Production Planning (PP) processes across discrete and process manufacturing.
• Conduct and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders.
• Configure and document SAP PP functionalities, including:
  • Production Orders
  • Process Orders
  • Master Data (BOM, Routing, Resources)
  • MRP
  • Batch Management
  • Shop Floor Execution
• Integrate PP with related modules such as MM, QM, WM, and MES systems.
• Collaborate with global teams and template owners to ensure consistency.
• Promote standardization and reuse of global templates with minimal deviations.
• Support testing phases including unit testing, UAT, cutover, and hypercare.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP PP in S/4HANA.
• Assist in data migration and validation (material master, work centers, routings, etc.).
• Coordinate with IBP/PPDS teams for advanced planning integration.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (with IT specialization).
• 8+ years of SAP PP experience, including 4+ years in S/4HANA (PP / PP-PI).
• Minimum 1 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Strong experience in both discrete and process manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of:
  • MRP
  • Order Types
  • Process Management
  • Batch Determination
  • Capacity Planning
• Experience in global SAP transformation programs using template-based deployment.
• Familiarity with:
  • SAP Manufacturing Execution (ME)
  • Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC)
  • Third-party MES systems (preferred)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SAP certifications are a plus.
