Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architects, and delivery teams to define strategic business objectives and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
Lead complex requirement discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and business process analysis sessions with global business and IT teams to identify business capabilities, gaps, dependencies, and transformation opportunities.
Drive end-to-end requirements management, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, user journeys, data mapping documents, business rules, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices.
Provide thought leadership in Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives by defining customer, product, supplier, location, and reference data use cases, governance processes, data quality requirements, and stewardship workflows. Collaborate closely with business leaders, solution architects, data architects, and development teams to design MDM solutions aligned with enterprise data strategy and business objectives. Own and manage Jira epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and backlog prioritization while ensuring alignment with program goals and release roadmaps. Lead backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, stakeholder reviews, defect triage discussions, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities. Continuously refine business requirements and user stories based on evolving business priorities, architecture decisions, testing feedback, and delivery team recommendations.
Facilitate cross-functional decision-making, manage requirement conflicts, assess scope impacts, and provide recommendations to leadership teams on solution approaches and business process improvements.
Ensure all project documentation, business decisions, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and change requests are accurately maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Support executive and program leadership with business impact assessments, project status reporting, stakeholder communications, and strategic roadmap planning.
Mentor junior Business Analysts and establish best practices for requirements management, business analysis methodologies, and Agile delivery processes.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of Business Analysis experience with at least 5+ years working on Enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) programs. Strong expertise in MDM concepts including Data Governance, Data Quality, Match & Merge, Hierarchy Management, Data Stewardship, and Golden Record management.
Hands-on experience gathering and documenting requirements for Customer 360, Product 360, Supplier 360, or similar MDM initiatives. Extensive experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence. Strong understanding of data modeling, data mapping, integration workflows, and enterprise data management principles. Exceptional stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
Experience working with global stakeholders and distributed delivery teams.
Ability to influence senior leadership and drive business decisions in complex enterprise environments. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Informatica MDM, Informatica SaaS MDM, Reltio, Semarchy, Profisee, or similar MDM platforms. Knowledge of Data Governance frameworks and Data Quality programs. Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation and data modernization initiatives.
